Welcome to Reproductive Specialty Medical Center! This center was
founded in 1995 by Beth Ary, M.D. and is located in Newport Beach,
California, approximately 40 miles south of Los Angeles. We are
here to make to fulfill your dreams of having a family and make what
seems impossible into a miracle. The results our staff produces are
not simply because they are gifted, qualified, and dedicated, but also
because they bring to their work a joyful assuredness and supportive
attitude which makes are staff unique.
We are able to more effectively maintain patient’s privacy because of
having a fully integrated facility. We have an on-site reproductive
laboratory that is JCAHO accredited for hormone assays and human
embryology. We have an AAAASF certified operating room/surgical
suite, and a state certified tissue bank for storage and processing of
sperm, eggs and embryos. This integration is helpful in protecting
privacy and maintaining quality control.

Beth A. Ary, M.D., Reproductive
Endocrinologist
Trained at the University of Wisconsin and at USC Medical School,
she ran an eight year long successful OB/GYN practice in Corona
Del Mar, California. She served on the teaching faculty of a medical
school in Hawaii, where she trained OB/GYN’s. She further
subspecialized in Reproductive Endocrinology at the USC fertility
clinics and served at the St George’s Hospital Medical School in
London, England, where she was an Honorary Research Fellow,
trained in pelvic reconstructive surgery. She is also currently board
certified in Gynecology and is board eligible in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility.
James P. Ary, Ph. D, HCLD; Laboratory
Director
Jim holds a Doctoral degree in Biophysics at Ohio State and a post
doctoral training in Biology at Caltech. He has over 12 years
experience working in IVF laboratories. Jim is also a full professor at
California State University in Long Beach, CA. He is responsible for
all laboratory procedures including quality control, quality assurance
and maintenance of laboratory accreditation by the Joint
Commission.
Karen IVF Coordinator
Karen has been the IVF Coordinator at the center since 1995. She
helps patients with coordinating all the steps necessary to complete
an IVF cycle. She conducts cycle coordination working directly with
Dr. Ary to complete your personalized medication protocol. She is in
charge of our egg donor program. So if you are interested in working
with one of our egg donors, she will be working directly with you to
make your dreams come true. She also conducts patient medication
teaching and will put you at ease whether your learning how to
administer injections or have a particular questions regarding your
protocol.
Yvonne Business Manager
Yvonne serves as our Business Office Manager. She works with
patients through the initial process and helps coordinate all financial
arrangements. She will sit down with each couple and let them know
the full cost of what treatment they are interested in. She has been
working with Dr. Ary at this location since 1999, and has served with
Dr. Ary for many years before she specialized as an infertility
specialist.
Jennifer
Embryologist/Andrologist/Lab Technician
Dawn, R.N. , Nurse Coordinator
Dawn is the Nurse Coordinator. She has a B.A. and obtained
her R .N. from Saddleback College. Women's health care is her
passion. She works closely with our patients, coordinating their
treatment and care.
